Chronolife is pleased to announce the appointment of Laurent Vandebrouck to the role of Chief Executive Officer. This start-up co-founded in November 2015 and funded by iBionext is an artificial intelligence company specialized in digital health. Chronolife is currently developing a unique solution which continuously monitors multiple parameters and capable of detecting specific changes in patient’s health.
Before joining Chronolife, Laurent was Managing Director of Qualcomm Life Europe, a company specialized in the development of wireless technologies and the operation of managed services for the connected health market, a company that he joined in 2003. He therefore has a strong experience in connected and digital health including in remote patient monitoring services. He brings his expertise to Chronolife at a time when the company is about to launch a unique range of medical services and devices, starting with a comfortable and washable connected t-shirt that continuously monitors and collects data on 6 physiological parameters (electrocardiogram, abdominal breathing, pulmonary breathing, pulmonary impedance, physical activity and body temperature)

The arrival of Laurent occurs at a strategic moment of the firm’s life, which will now go from its research & development phase, to its manufacturing and commercial phase, requiring the certification of its first medical services and devices.

Laurent benefits from more than 25 years of working experience in industry and services, mobile communication technologies, and more recently Cloud and IoT, applied to connected health among other things.
Chronolife is an artificial intelligence company specialized in digital health. Its patented technology is a unique neuromorphic algorithm called HOTS (Hierarchy Of even-based Time Surfaces), which analyses several data flows continuously, to characterize clinical events. Chronolife has developed a smart wearable that integrates various sensors to continuously monitor physiological data. This data is analyzed by the smartphone application on patient’s phone that uses HOTS technology to conduct data fusion. It is capable of detecting changes in a patient’s health and triggering alerts to healthcare professionals to predict acute pathological episodes.
